Today I’d like to share some cute origami projects, that you can also use to decorate your Christmas gifts with. I’ve used squares of 15 x 15cm and 10 x 10cm made from wrapping paper, since I had no origami paper at hand. This paper worked just as well, except for the white folding creases on the bow T_T .
Origami Bows
This bow takes a little time to make, but it’s so pretty! I think this project actually qualifies as ‘kirigami’, since some cutting is involved. Below you’ll find the instructions that I received with a pack of folding paper and at Tweety Atelier you can also find photos of each step.

At the Sanrio website you can find printable Hello Kitty origami paper with instructions to make a more simple bow. If you don’t have a printer, you could also make this bow from paper of about 8,5 x 10cm or 10,5 x 15cm.
Origami Bunny, Heart and Icecream
I’ve made the bunny by following this Miffy origami tutorial. It’s up to you to create a face and I think a sleeping bunny would also be cute.
The instructions for the winged heart come from Origami Club, a website where you can find tons of instructions in various languages. I’m sure it will keep you entertained for hours.
Ice cream during winter, why not? This origami is very simple to complete with the folding tutorial from Origami Club, just click on the diagram or animation button.
Christmas Origami
Have a look at Origami Club or these printable small christmas origami boxes, if you’d like to make more Christmas specific origami. Happy folding (^_^).
Those are so cute! I think the white creases work fine for something to decorate a gift.
