Next week I’m taking a (much needed) break from work, so that means I’ll finally have time to write new posts! In the meantime I’d like to give you a short cute fix with the work from Kira Imai.

Kira is mostly known from her illustrations and postcards for Angelic Pretty, I believe that she also designs some of the fabrics.

Her other work include girls and animals as well, such as the romantic illustration above. I really like the soft colours and the cute ruffled clothes.

If you enjoy Kira’s work you can check out Instagram, or buy her book called ‘Imai Kira Lolita Works’. It contains both Angelic Pretty prints and her independent lolita drawings. Only a couple of the pages are in Japanese, so it’s no problem if you don’t understand the language. The book is available at CD Japan and Hobby Search for about $18.50
