Cute Ways to Keep Your Head Cool

Cute Cool Head Cat Mask

You might have noticed my absence last week, I just couldn’t stay long behind the computer because of a migraine attack :(. I highly prefer dark rooms over bright screens during those days. Draping myself over the couch also offers some relieve and sometimes it helps to eat A LOT. This method is just plain weird and I’m not sure if I can recommend it to anyone, so here are some cute ways to give your head a break.

Cute Cool Head Cat Mask

First up is this Fumofu eye cushion, which comes in many patterns. The cat has got tiny pearls inside for flexibility and a soft tummy to offer comfort. In Japan the cat cushions are for sale at Kraso, let’s hope that they’ll find their way overseas ^_^

Cute Cool Head Hello Kitty

These Hello Kitty cooling pads smell like mint or peaches and they will cool your head for up to 8 hours. I’m not sure if they work straight out of the package or if you have to cool them in the refrigerator first, but I might have to give them a try!

Cute Cool Head

In Japan people often use gel ice pads to make sure their bento stays cold. But they are also perfect to cool your head or relieve an itchy skin rash. You can find those pads for a very reasonable price at Modes4U and Tout Mignon.

Artbox Mask

Artbox has the cutest eye masks! Somehow I couldn’t find them at the English shop anymore, but Artbox in Singapore offers many options, such as the sleepy bear eye gel mask above.

If thinking about spending money gives you a headache, then I can advice this cute DIY eye mask from Wolf and Willow.

  2. This is the best post ever, I suffer really badly from migraines and these aids would really help cheer me up when I’m in pain. Thank you for sharing!

    1. Thank you for your sweet comment!
I’m sorry to hear that šŸ˜¦ For me it also seems to help to take as little medicine as possible (for instance half a pill, instead of the recommended one pill), if the pain allows it. Otherwise I can get ‘rebound’ migraines. Take care ā¤

  3. I think the cat cooling pads are my favorite. They are pretty cute. Migraines are no fun though, I am so glad I hardly ever get them anymore, there is nothing worse that your head feeling like it might explode.
