Kao-ani.com has got a new category called ‘Cute Events’! Lately I’ve been blogging about events and exhibitions I’ve visited in the Netherlands. But I thought it might be nice to announce cute events around the world. I hope you’ll enjoy the new category and might discover an event that you can visit yourself (*^▽^*).
Today I’d like to introduce you to Tokyo Crazy Kawaii, which will be held this September in Tapei, Taiwan. It’s a special thank you from Japan for the great support Taiwan offered after the 2011 earthquake and tsunami.
The event will feature the best in Japanese culture including music, fashion, food, anime, games and character goods. There will also be six culture zones covering popular districts in Tokyo: Shibuya, Harajuku, Akihabara, Tsukiji, Asakusa and Nippon. They are represented by the cute characters below:
Tokyo Crazy Kawaii main visual of Shibuya by Julie Watai. Julie is the official photographer of this event, but she is also a model and musician. Check out this cute videoclip (ღ˘⌣˘ღ) ♫.
Last year’s Tokyo Crazy Kawaii in Paris was a big success with over 20,000 visitors. Highlights were fashion shows, cosplay contests, game demonstrations and live performances:
Some of the artists who will perform live in Taiwan are Dempagumi.inc, Haruko Momoi, Moumoon and Usagi.
You can attend Tokyo Crazy Kawaii from September 12th to 14th in the Expo Dome of Taipei Expo Park. Tickets are available at the official website and you can also find more information on the Facebook page.
