Tokidoki x Karl Lagerfeld

IMHO Karl Lagerfeld is probably the most badass fashion designer around. He’s still active in the industry, despite his age. He’s always dressed in black and it looks like he never takes off his sunglasses. And last but not least he’s got a gorgeous white cat named Choupette. As you might know I’ve got a white cat as well, not purely by choice but she needed a new home. She’s lovely, but I could do without all those white hairs on my dark clothes. So I wonder how Karl pulls it off πŸ˜‰

Karl Lagerfeld Choupette Tokidoki

Tokidoki already transformed Karl into a character last year. Now Simone Legno -the founder of Tokidoki- also included Choupette! “I am very flattered that I have become a tokidoki,” said Lagerfeld. “I always loved them and I am very happy to be one of them.”

Karl Lagerfeld Choupette Tokidoki Figurine

The Tokidoki x Karl Lagerfeld collection is available at the offical KL stores in Amsterdam, Berlin and Paris or through I think the prices are a bit steep, but the figurine looks very cool.

  1. Its odd I should come across this particular post. I too had a beautiful white cat called snow. I also wasn’t really looking to own a cat, but she needed a new home and I couldn’t bare to see her go to animal welfare. She was the most beautiful cat, but I only had her for about 6 months before we discovered she had Leukemia and had to have her put down around this time last Friday 😦 Her name was Snow and she looked just like yours.

    1. What a lovely name, I wish you got to enjoy Snow longer 😦 I’m very sorry for your loss!
It’s so hard is to lose a beloved pet.

I adopted Catootje under the condition that she would accept the cat we already had (Kuchi). Eventually they did get along and it was so much fun to see them chasing eachother on the stairs. Sadly Kuchi suddenly got a stroke :(, it turned out he had an undiagnosed heart disease and we had to put him to sleep (3 years ago).
